IT’S A CHART-TOPPING DOUBLEHEADER AS HEART AND KOOL & THE GANG HIT THE STAGE THIS WEEKEND AT
UNIVERSAL ORLANDO’S MARDI GRAS 2010
The Party Continues This Saturday and Sunday
WHAT: This weekend, two influential musical acts are performing live in concert at Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras 2010 celebration. First up on Saturday, February 13 is Heart – the chart-topping rock band behind classic hits like “Barracuda,” “These Dreams,” “Crazy on You,” “Magic Man” and “Alone.” The group has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and was recently named one of VH1’s Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.
The next night, Mardi Gras guests will dance along with Kool & the Gang as they take the center stage. The Grammy award-winning funk/R&B group has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide. Some of their biggest hits include “Ladies’ Night,” “Celebration,” “Jungle Boogie,” “Get Down On It” and “Hollywood Swinging.”

Universal Orlando is celebrating 15 years of beads, bands and good times with its Mardi Gras 2010 celebration. Guests will experience the spirit of Bourbon St. in the heart of Universal Studios, with festivities including an elaborate parade, hundreds of costumed characters, tons of souvenir beads, Cajun cuisine and live performances by mega-talented artists.
