Wooden Warrior Rises from the Snowy Depths of Quassy Park

The Northeast is getting positively slammed this winter with very thick blankets of snow. It’s put a damper on the construction of a few projects. However Quassy Park in Connecticut seems to be moving ahead as it rises out of the snow in a picture sent to us by the park.

The coaster will open in late April with an auction for the first rides on the coaster to benefit the Connecticut Food Bank. The ride is being built by The Gravity Group and is a family wooden coaster. It’s going to be 35′ tall with a drop of 45′, and be just 1200 feet long. It’s going to be a family addition to the family friendly park.
