Morey’s Piers is staying busy with many different events happening in the park within the next few weeks. Below is information on several of the events going on at Morey’s Piers in the next couple weeks.
Breakfast in the Sky
Ever thought of having breakfast on a Ferris wheel more than 100 feet tall? Morey’s Piers is now taking reservations for “Breakfast in the Sky” on their 156 foot tall Ferris wheel. “Breakfast in the Sky” consists of a leisure breakfast complete with fine china, a white linen table cloth, and wheel-side service.
“We really strive to make the Breakfast in the Sky experience unforgettable,” said Walter Jurusz. “The food has to be exciting enough to compete with such an extraordinary setting and I’m really happy with our offerings.”
The menu includes Shrimp and Lobster Omelets, Homemade Belgian Waffles smothered in fresh Jersey blueberries, Smoked Salmon Scrambled Eggs with capers, Steak and Egg Scramble with Cuban spiced filet tips and more all served with juice, a basket of breakfast breads, home fries and coffee or tea.
Each car can seat up for four guests. One or two guests can make their reservation for $85, three guests for $125, and four guests for $165. Breakfast in the sky is now open for reservations on select dates now through the end of August. Call (609)846-1624 to make your reservation today.

Surf Fest
On Saturday, July 30th, Morey’s Piers will attract surfers and surf fans to the beach located behind Raging Waters Waterpark on Morey’s Mariner’s Landing. Free surf lessons will be provided by Ocean Outfitters and Kona Surf & Sport to registered participants. Registration is free, however it is required to book a time slot for surf lessons.
“We’re stoked to provide surf lessons to beginners and introduce new people into the surf community and lifestyle,” said Gary Forrest, Owner of Wild Ocean Surf Shop.
The event will also feature a unique beer garden, live music, surf vendors, and more.

Wild Half Marathon
Sunday, August 28th the Wild Half Marathon will take place along the Wildwoods boardwalk. Marathoners will embark on a 13.1 mile run across the shore line to an unforgettable beach finish.
“It’s a high sensory running experience that gives runners a taste of everything the Wildwoods has to offer,” said Nick Lassor, Beach Sports Manager. “From the sights and sounds of the Boardwalk, the thrills of an amusement park, the beautiful architecture of the Doo-Wop District and the award-winning beaches – it’s really a race like no other.”
Entry fees for the Wild Half Marathon are $75 per person through Sunday, August 14th. Beginning Monday, August 15th until Friday August 26th, entry fees will be $90 per person. August 26th will end race registration.
Those who enter the race will receive a weekend pass to Morey’s Piers and Beachfront Waterparks and may also receive a discounted pass for friends and family. They are also welcome to camp out on the beach all weekend free of cost.
Morey’s Piers is looking for 500 volunteers who can help with set-up, registration, water stations, and the finish line. CGI Racing will donate $25 for each volunteer and each shift they assist with to non-profit organizations. Donations will be based upon how many volunteers a provided. CGI requires a minimum for 10 volunteers for a group donation. Individuals are welcome to volunteer.
Additional benefits from volunteering include a t-shirt and a post-race buffet. Those interested in volunteering should email mredrow@cgiracing.com no later than August 10th.
