Summertime and water parks go hand in hand. You almost have to have new water park attractions every year, and who better to do it than Whitewater West? The company responsible for things like the MEGA TUBE and more has several new attractions rolling out this year.
The first was the opening of the all new Wings and Wave section of the Evergreen Museum in Oregon. The highlight of this new water park are four new slides that emerge from an actual Boeing 747 perched atop the building.
Riders take the slide out of the exit doors of the plane and dive from on top of the building down into splash pools at the bottom. One of the other cool features is in the Aqua Play area. What is normally a giant bucket that dumps down on guests waiting below, is now an almost life sized helicopter that dumps water on guests below.

The second new innovative water park project is at NH20 in Texas.
NRH2O expands its current mix of exciting attractions this summer with the world’s only Viper. Featuring an enormous 20 foot (6.1 meter) diameter, this attraction strikes at the heart of excitement with its multi-sensory overload of twists, high-banking turns and heart-stopping drops! 43-feet tall, 430-feet long and built for 2 to 4 person rafts, the Viper is the ride for thrill-seekers looking to share an unforgettable experience together
On top of being an all new MEGA tube experience, Viper has on ride lighting and sound effects in the tube!
