Adventure Island goes to weekend operation and offers great discounts for students

Beginning September 10th, Adventure Island will be going into weekend operation only until the end of their season. Unlike Aquatica near Seaworld, Adventure Island closes for a few months when it tends to get fairly cold, and reopens just in time for spring.

Adventure Island will be open Labor Day September 3-5 from 9:30am-6pm. Beginning September 10th until October 30th, park hours are 10am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays only.

With school back in session, Adventure Island is offering great deals for students of all kinds: elementary through high school and college students. College students may purchase discounted tickets for $24.99 now by showing their student ID card at an Adventure Island ticket window or online and enter the promo code “COLLEGE” and show their student ID card when they use their tickets at the turnstiles.

Beginning September 10th, elementary, middle, and high school students can also receive a discount on their tickets and purchase a one day ticket for $24.99.

Adventure Island will reopen for the 2012 season on March 10th. For more information about Adventure Island, visit the official website.
