Happy 3 years of theme park news: New Android App and the Podcast returns

We’ve already brought our show back in full force as of last week with Episode 96: Catch Up with Fries. We’ve been pretty busy with life in general over the last 11 months and haven’t had the chance to sit down and record a show. On top of that, we have gotten completely away from our old style of live shows through Blogtalk Radio for the sheer fact the quality was horrible and they are now limiting free shows to a extreme. Who wants to listen to us at three in the afternoon? Not I!

We’re glad to bring the show back in full force. Stay tuned for a new episode next week. In the mean time, check out this week’s episode and don’t forget to subscribe!

Episode 96: Catch Up with Fries

On the upside, we are doing something we have never done before! It’s been in the works for a long time and it’s been sitting on my plate even longer. We’ve finally accomplished it and it works great. Phew, I’m glad we got the cat out of the bag!

Behind the Thrills presents: an Android App!

We’re working on getting this in the Android Market currently, so until then we have the application located on our website so you can download it there until we do get it in the market.

Features:

  • The ability to stream our podcast from your device
  • Notifications when we publish new articles (you can choose how often to be notified)
  • Ability to read full articles located on our website and view article photos
  • Mark articles as your ‘favorite’ with the star feature
  • Hide read articles if you so choose
  • Go straight to new items with a column for unread items

We have officially made it to the Android Market and our application is now available for download for free! All you need is a barcode scanner so you can scan the QR Barcode below or just search for us in the market by searching “Behind the Thrills”.

Feedback is always appreciated. Be sure to leave feedback in the Android Market!
