After almost a year of @HOSInsider hints, tons of reveals, and a very spooky commercial Haunt Season is one step closer as Busch Gardens Tampa reveals the official Howl Scream website for 2011. The Dark Side of the Gardens is a common theme shared with sister park Busch Gardens Williamsburg, though Busch Gardens Tampa takes the decidedly scarier approach with “Zombies Live Here.”
The event this year will include six haunted houses, zombies two shows a club and a shop.
Houses were released early on the AAA website a few days ago, but they are
- Nevermore-The tales of Edgar Allan Poe come to life with Ravens, Pendulums and beating hearts
- Ultimate Gamble:Vampire Casino-Vampires urge you to test your luck, but the stakes are high
- Zombie Mortuary-Zombies live where the dead should be in this small town mortuary
- Nightshade Toys-An abandoned toy factory comes to life as the son of a toymaker takes revenge with his fathers demented playthings
- Death Row Vengeance:Fear the Dead-Ghosts of the dead souls have taken this place before. Now it’s a zombie outbreak as executions are scheduled
- Deconstruction:Out of Control-Dr. Von Angst can build you better..stronger…and crazier
- Alone-The upcharge house is back. Once again you journey through the labyrinth of Minotaur storage. Once again you journey alone, or with three friends. Once again, can you make it out alive or will you become part of the collection?
As previously rumored, there will be no scare zones, at least by the looks of the official map. Instead the “scare is everywhere” as zombies roam the gardens freely.
There will be two shows once again this year, they are
- Fiends-Dr. Freakenstein returns with his band of monsters and his naughty nurses.
- Midnight Hour-Pop culture icons will help you to break into the music industry in a song, and horror filled show
Also returning is the Shop of Horrors. Here you can find Howl O Scream merchandise, take pictures and buy stuff. Also returning is the adults only nightclub where people can purchase drinks, dance, and see entertainment by the characters that roam the park. This year’s name goes along with the theme of zombies. “Club Virus” is located in the front of the park.
