As summer winds closer to the end, it only seems like the beginning of things at Universal Orlando as they seem to be kicking many different things into high gear. As you walk through CityWalk you can see the frantic work being done for the “Hollywood Drive-In Mini Golf”. In the parks the hustle and bustle continues as Horror Nights draws closer. Plus later in the summer means lighter crowds, well somewhat.

Construction is going steady on the Mini Golf complex just inside of Citywalk. This construction has me baffled as to just what exactly we’re going to see. Is it going to be indoors, outdoors..half and half?

Over at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights construction is going fast and furious. Of course you can’t see anything because of the locations of all the houses. In fact, they have been so secretive that Universal actually moved the Disaster Queue up further to keep prying eyes from seeing too much.

Every once in a while you do manage to spy something that may be something, like an open soundstage door with a forklift going into it…with a car parked outside. Then again, it might not be anything.
Here’s more of nothing!
Over at Islands of Adventure, construction has begun for the expansion to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter….path. Nothing huge and major here. Still it’s fun to look at.
This time of year means that it’s super busy, which means extra entertainment throughout both parks.

It also means that extra restaurants are open like Wimpy’s burgers and my favorite, Green Eggs and Ham which actually has Green Eggs and Ham on the menu!

Over in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, new items like Fizzing Whizbees (they may not be brand new, but our first time) hits the shelves.

Also, mini magnets with the Ministry of Magic Proclamations on them.

It’s also very hard to believe that only a year ago The Wizarding Worlf of Harry Potter opened it’s doors. We take a look around at some of the odd architecture and signs. Enjoy!
