Although the curtains just closed on Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy this past Monday, Busch Gardens is already gearing up for the show that will be replacing it in 2012. Busch Gardens announced today at 10:30 to select media outlets and park guests what they would be adding to their show line-up for 2012.
New in 2012 is Iceploration
Iceploration will take stage on February 2, 2012 in the Moroccan Theather. A cast of 20 will bring an all-new adventure to life that is filled with world-class skaters, aerial performances, master pupperty, and live animal stars.
“The grand scale of Iceploration sets a new standard of entertainment that further solidifies Busch Gardens as one of Florida’s premier theme parks,” said Busch Gardens Park President Jim Dean. “This show reintroduces the ice show to our most loyal fans while bringing together the things Busch Gardens stage productions do best: world-class entertainment with top-notch skaters, amazing costumes, original music, larger-than-life puppets and even animal stars.”
Icepoloartion will inspire it’s audiences to explore the world during the 30 minute show that will journey to the four corners of the globe. The 30 minute show opens with a digital-savvy preteen named Austin (much like many of us today). His grandfather is an old world explorer who argues that Austin is more disconnected from the real world than he realizes and takes him on an adventure around the globe. During their travels, they visit the African Serengeti, Great Barrier Reef, and the Arctic and Amazon rainforest.

Busch Gardens has already begun construction to transform the Moroccan Theater for the new icy show, as well as Busch Garden’s holiday ice show. The Moroccan Theater will host “Christmas on Ice” daily from November 21 – January 1.
