Food and Wine Festival kicks off September 30th at Epcot

The International Food and Wine Festival will make it’s return to Epcot again this year on September 30th. The 45 day festival will allow guests to  experience international cuisine, culture, and entertainment from six different areas within Epcot. This year features more than 25 international marketplaces featuring “tapas sized” portions paired with beer and wine.

During the festival guests will not only be able to experience various cuisines from around the world, but they will also be able to:

  • Three new tasting marketplaces — Hawaii, Caribbean Islands and Portugal — plus new menu offerings at popular returning marketplaces
  • Celebrity chef appearances starring top culinarians like Jeff Henderson, Cat Cora, Alan Wong, Gale Gand, Suvir Saran, Jamie Deen, Rock Harper, Celina Tio, Robert Irvine, Andrew Zimmern, Buddy Valastro, Warren Brown, Art Smith, Keegan Gerhard and more.
  • First-ever HGTV home entertaining seminars each Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • The Cranberry Bog display by Craisins telling the story behind the venerable cranberry’s rich agricultural heritage.
  • Daily wine seminars, bottle signings, author events and culinary demonstrations at the Festival Welcome Center.
  • Eat to the Beat! concerts three times nightly (5:15pm, 6:30pm, and 7:45pm) at America Gardens Theatre.

The Food and Wine Festival runs daily from September 30th until November 13th and is included with admission to Epcot. Food and other items are not included with park admission, however.
Highlights of Food and Wine Festival include:
  • Festival Welcome Center – Wine Bar, Authentic Taste Seminars, “Authors Without Borders” weekend, plus more
  • More than 270 chefs from across the country and Disney’s own chefs
  • Marketplace Discovery Passport – Complimentary “passport” that will be stamped upon visiting each international marketplace
  • First Bites Opening Reception – September 29th
  • Party for the Senses (requires reseveration) – Tasting event beginning on October 8th from 7:30p-10:30p. Features more than 50 wines and beers, live entertainment by Cique Du Soleil, and tempting “bites” from chefs. Reservations can be made by calling (407)WDWFEST.
