Universal Orlando announced a “Celebration of the Harry Potter Films” event for November 11-13 that will be hosted by Warner Bros. Fans of the movie series will be able to celebrate a decade of movie history at the event. Universal offered two packages for the event: The Premier Package and the Celebration package.
While the Celebration Package is still on sale, starting at $369 per person, the Premier package has already sold out (and has been since the day they went on sale).
The Celebration Package includes:
- 4 nights at Universal partner hotel
- 3 day ticket to both Universal’s theme parks
- Early admission to the Wizarding World beginning at 6am
- 1 in-park Harry Potter talent Q&A
- Commemorative Pin
- Harry Potter Blu-Ray set
One of the big questions raised when the event was announced was “What about Passholders?”. Universal stated they would be offering something for passholders, but announced nothing until now. Universal Orlando is holding a contest for Preferred and Premier passholders to enter. They will be offering a total of 1,005 prizes.
5 Grand Prize winners will receive the Premier Package for the event for themselves and three others, which includes:
- 4 nights at Universal partner hotel
- 3 day ticket to both Universal’s theme parks
- Early admission to the Wizarding World beginning at 6am
- 1 in-park Harry Potter talent Q&A
- Commemorative Pin
- Harry Potter Blu-Ray set
- Autograph session with Harry Potter stars
- Breakfast at the Three Broomsticks
- Reservation to nighttime gala on November 13th
- Citywalk Party Pass (must be 21 or older for some venues)
1,000 winners will receive an in-park Q&A session with a member of the Harry Potter cast.
The contest will be open from now until October 15th for those who had an active annual pass on or before September 19, 2011.
