President Obama to give speech at Magic Kingdom

It was recently revealed that the Magic Kingdom is one of the biggest travel destinations in the world. Out if all the places on the planet, more people choose Orlando and Walt Disney World to visit than some of the worlds biggest natural wonders. However, with the waiting times for travel Visas, many international travelers are looking for other destinations. It’s a problem that is costing U.S. businesses hundreds of millions of dollars a year. Today in a speech President Obama plans on outlining ways to combat that problem, and he plans to do it from none other than the Magic Kingdom.

The speech will be held at 12:35 EST, from in front of Cinderella’s Castle. If you are in the park, don’t expect to be anywhere near the president. Instead there will be a live video feed broadcast from the Hall of Presidents. If you’re not in the park you can watch the speech live via the feed below:

A few things to know, Main Street U.S.A. will be closed. Guests will be directed through a backstage area used for days with big crowds. There will be no chance to get close to the president. The park will not host fireworks tonight, instead a special one night only display will be held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We have also been told that anyone with a
one day ticket will be able to hop to any park on WDW property today only.
