The Entertainment Designer Forum is a big event in several different ways. A panel of design experts sit down and discuss their styles and philosophies behind creating theme park shows and attractions, plus it includes a silent auction that features theme park memorabilia and Halloween Horror Nights collectibles.

The Designer Forum will be taking place at the Orange County Regional History Center again this year on March 8th. Like previous years, there will be two different sessions at 6:30pm and 9:00pm. Both sessions will more than likely feature different designers, but you will have to stay tuned for the official line up when it is announced.

Here is the full line up:

Just added to the event-Alan Gilmore, Supervising Art Director for not only The Wizarding World of Harry Potter but also several of the Harry Potter films, as well as X-Men:First Class and the upcoming World War Z with Brad Pitt! Alan will be at the 9:00 session, and is no stranger to the Designer’s Forum. He was a guest speaker at the first designers forum.

The cost of the event is $25 for one session, or you can attend both sessions for $40 (which saves you $10). Tickets are now on sale over the phone, however, the website will not be updated until sometime next week. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, you can do so by calling 407-836-7010. Tickets will be available online soon at http://thehistorycenter.org.

Here are a few of this year’s collectibles that will be available for auction:

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
