Beach Waterpark holding job fair to fill 500 positions for re-opening

                             

Mason’s premier entertainment facility, The Beach Waterpark, an Adventure Landing Park is hosting a job fair in prelude to its grand re-opening scheduled for May 18th, 2013. The new owners, Adventure Holdings, LLC, will honor all 2012 Season Passes purchased for waterpark admission.  “This park is a cornerstone for the community and we can’t wait to re-open our doors to all the same things you remember and new things we’ve included”, says General Manager, Ralph Vilardo, Jr. “Our park will provide 500 seasonal jobs to this area”, he adds.” We want to teach people how to work in a fast-paced position, as this is a first job for a lot of young people. The Beach is a quality, entertainment venue and the opportunity to meet 500 new friends in an exciting and fun working environment” says Vilardo, Jr.

Vilardo, Jr. has been General Manager of The Beach since Adventure Landing purchased it and offers over 10 years in waterpark experience. He always looks forward to this part of the season. “Now, we have so many new areas and revitalized attractions”, says Ralph. “There are always so many great, new people who apply with us and some familiar faces that we’ve come to count on. We always look for award-winning attitude, appearance, customer service skills and work ethic”, he adds.

Saturday, March 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m.

 

WHERE:

The Beach Waterpark located at 2590 Waterpark Drive in Mason. Arrive at The Beach general parking lot, and you will be directed to the admissions building.

 

DETAILS:

Potential employees are asked to fill out an application online at The Beach’s website before the job fair for maximum efficiency. Candidates should bring an ID and any copies of certifications they’ve received in their field of work such as first aid or rescue. Vilardo says everyone “should bring a great attitude and a smiling face” and adds that a “warm handshake and eye-contact  are ‘key’ to being a premier team member of the waterpark”.

 

POSITIONS FOR HIRE:

Part time, seasonal positions for supervisors, food service, bartending (must be 21 or older) life guarding, EMT rescue, park landscaping/maintenance (must be 18 or older), admissions, seasonal marketing, sales and special events, party captains, gift shop retail/merchandising,  and game room attendants.
