When visiting Myrtle Beach, One of the attractions you can see for miles is the 187-feet tall SkyWheel! The SkyWheel debued in May of 2011 with a million LED lights and 42 climate-controlled gondolas each capable of flying 2-6 people. There are also VIP gondola’s that have a glass floor which are capable of only flying 4. Over the past few weeks the SkyWheel has been closed at various times while getting a new paint job! The Paint job is now complete and the SkyWheel is back to it’s normal operating hours.
SkyWheel hours:
- Sunday – Thursday: 11am. until 10 p.m.
- Friday & Saturday: 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Pricing:
Each flight is three revolutions, so it’s usually about 10-12 minutes in total.
- Adults ages 12+ $13.00
- Child ages 3-11 $9.00
- VIP $50.00 *Skip the line includes: VIP gondola with glass floors, leather seats, a double ride, a SkyWheel t-shirt and VIP lanyard.
