Orange County Regional History Center hosting Stilt Walker Demonstration as part of Backstage to on Stage

The Orange County Regional History Center opened a brand new display, “A Year in the Life: Backstage to on Stage“, earlier this year. The new display focuses on the creative process for four of Universal Orlando’s different events, including: Mardi Gras, Universal’s Superstar Parade and Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular: 100 Years of Movie Memories, Halloween Horror Nights, and Macy’s Parade and Mannheim Steamroller.

This coming Saturday, May 11th, the History Center will be hosting a Stilt Walker Demonstration and Q&A session with Stilt Walkers from 11am-1pm.

Universal Orlando uses stilt walkers in many of their events, including Mardi Gras and Macy’s Parade. They are fun and can make for amazing costume designs.

The demonstration and Q&A is included with regular admission to the History Center. On Saturday, the History Center will be open from 10am-5pm. For admission prices, please click here to visit the official website for more information.
