Seven Dwarfs Mine Train now accepting FastPass plus reservations at Magic Kingdom?

This has been one up and down week for an all new roller coaster at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Coaster is on track for an opening this week, one way or another. On Saturday crews were spotted doing envelope reach testing on the new coaster, then on Monday Cast Members were seen riding the coaster. Could we see a soft opening soon? Well, it certainly seems more than that.

Update

There are no Fastpass+ Reservations available on any of the Disney websites. This was either a joke, or a mistake. It’s likely that Fastpass+ could come on line soon…but it’s not available today.

BTT Twitter follower Matt Walker tweeted to us early Tuesday morning that he was able to book Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for this coming Wednesday, April 30th. We know that there will be a media preview of the coaster this week, but a very quiet grand opening? It certainly seems that way.

If we are to see a grand opening on Wednesday, you’ll want to book your FastPass+ as soon as you can, because the coaster will be very popular, and it will have a huge line.

Still, with employees doing testing on Monday, it stands to reason that the powers that be will want to test out the new coaster with guests and get a feel for the crowds…so it’s possible that the coaster will soft open on Tuesday (TODAY) April 29th.

Update
Several readers have tried to book through the annual passholder site, but there is no mine train listed. Either it was a limited test, or there was a mistake.
Still, the coaster should be open soon. Let us know if you have any luck.

And while it seems that we were either given bad information, or it was just a test being done, there is some more cool stuff to see with Seven Dwarfs as Disney has released a very cool video showcasing the all new animatronics featured in the ride.

Update 5-2-14
The website has been updated and you can now book Fastpass+ reservations.
