Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been lacking a big nighttime spectacular that the other parks have. That all changes when the all new nighttime show, Rivers of Light, makes it’s debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the next few years. There weren’t many details about the new lagoon show, but there was some killer concept art and an idea of what we can expect.
Rivers of Light promises to be a show like none other currently seen in any Disney park. The show will combine water screens, lanterns, lights, live music and of course animals. The animals will swirl to life in The Discovery River nightly between Discovery Island and Expedition:Everest.
There are no other details at this time, though it is expected that the show will premiere closer to the opening of Avatar Land: Pandora which will be making it’s Animal Kingdom debut in 2017.
