Busch Gardens Williamsburg is gearing up for Howl O Scream, as the construction team has stumbled upon something that has stopped them dead in their tracks. The theme this year for Howl O Scream will have guests digging to get away from the terror as the park brings back some classic houses, and new fears.
This year, Howl O Scream shares the same scary theme at all three Howl O Scream events, including Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld San Antonio. At Busch Gardens Williamsburg, the terror takes on the form of four returning haunted houses, and the promise of at least two more new houses that haven’t been named yet.
Here’s what’s returning:
- Bitten-Set in Eastern Europe in the late 1800s, the house is full of the legends of Vampires
- Catacombs-Through a ruined cemetery filled with statues lies a tunnel that leads to an underground city. Its history is more terrifying than that of France’s worst revolutions.
- Cut Throat Cove-Pirates take over, and mutiny is afoot. Dead men tell no tales, so be on the lookout
- Deadline-A haunted subway line that runs under the cursed city of Pompei. What could possibly go wrong!
There’s no word on what the new houses will be, but it’s sounding like the park could finally get an upcharge house, much like Busch Gardens Tampa has done for the past few years.
Also returning are the parks sinister Terror-tories. The park transforms many of their individual countries into giant scare zones, all with a different theme
- Demon Street
- Ports of Skull
- Ripper Row
- Vampire Point
- Wendigo Woods
The park also has three huge shows, all of which are crowd favorites and combine horror with music. Some of it’s funny, others are extremely dark and twisted.
- Fiends
- Monster Stomp
- Night Beats
Busch Gardens Williamsburg also has several dinner shows that give guests not only a great meal, but also a unique show. Igor’s Fright Feast gives guests more of the Fiends experience with Igor, and the hot nurses, while Vampire Point takes guests into a hotel run by Vampires, for an amazing dinner show.
There will be tons of big happenings as Howl O Scream gets closer, and the new houses are revealed.
