Food and Wine Festival returns to Disney’s California Adventure this April!

Disney’s California Adventure is bringing back a very popular event after a six year absence, The Food and Wine Festival! The festival will return for a limited run in April, and will bring several new tastes to the park. Details are scarce, but the festival is bringing back new experiences and new tastes.

Every weekend in April, Disney’s California Adventure is playing host to the Food & Wine Festival. The festival will bring in delicious flavors from throughout the state of California, culinary demonstrations, informative seminars and celebrity chefs. There will also be some huge new ways to get the most flavor from the event, with premium packages.

The event had it’s last run in 2010, and was ended due to the billion dollar refurbishment of California Adventure. After that, it seemingly had no interest in bringing back the event, until now. The park is facing stiff competition from the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood, and a huge refurbishment at Knott’s Berry Farm. Universal will have their grand opening of Harry Potter in the first week of April, which could be the reason that Disney is suddenly bringing back the Food & Wine Festival. It’s unlikely that it will be enough to keep fans away from the Boy Wizard, so we expect to see more come from this event as it gets closer.

Disney will continue the 60th Anniversary Celebration, as well as the Star Wars based Season of the Force, and is also rumored to bring back Frozen for the Summer.
