Ample Hills Creamery to open new shop at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort

Ample Hills Creamery is a Brooklyn based ice cream shop that does things the old fashioned way. They are bringing that old-fashioned passion for ice cream, and bringing it to the Boardwalk Resort at Walt Disney World.

Would you believe there were once cows and grassy hills in Brooklyn, New York?  We didn’t either, but according to the official Ample Hills website…there were. The hills are long gone, but the spirit if that bygone Era lives on with the ice cream shop that is a throwback to the way things used to be.

Now, the shop is taking the first steps out of New York and bringing their one of a kind flavors to Orlando, and the Boardwalk Resort at Walt Disney World.

Later this year, the shop will oen with a variety of flavors such as, Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Coffee Toffee Coffee, Malty Salty Pretzel Punch, Cotton Candy, and a special flavor just for Walt Disney World.
The new shop will be right at home, as the throwback flavors and feeling of the Boardwalk Resort is the perfect match for this new shop. Coincidentally, they’re the shop that makes the only, officially licensed Star Wars ice cream…and you can buy it online! It’s not sold in the shops, but maybe with Star Wars land coming to Disney, they can be persuaded to adding it to the menu!
