Secret Life of Pets was another huge hit for Illumination Entertainment. It shouldn’t have been a big surprise, as the company behind Minions, Despicable Me and The Lorax really hasn’t had a misfire yet. Late last year, Universal Orlando unveiled a new portion of their Superstar Parade featuring the characters from Secret Life of Pets on an all new float.
This won’t be the last time we see these pets, as the film is rumored to become a new ride at Universal Orlando and Hollywood within the next few years.

The new floats feature animatronic and static characters from the film, and features all of your favorites. It gives a level of detail that is matched only by the energy of the performers. The performers are not costumed characters, but play humans taking their pets out for a walk through the city. It’s really a cute touch, and gets around the problem of having humans interacting in a world where pets talk.
You can check out the Superstar Parade daily at Universal Orlando, and even get a glimpse at the characters several times a day as the floats are pulled out for mini-celebrations. The characters do meet and greets and you can get really close to the float and see some of the characters.
