Loews Sapphire Falls bringing new Caribbean Carnaval to Universal Orlando

While the attractions of Universal Orlando’s theme parks are amazing, the onsite hotels offer a little more of a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of a long day. Each hotel has it’s unique flair and flavor, and even special events. Portofino Bay has Harbor Nights, Hard Rock Hotel has Velvet Sessions, and Royal Pacific has Wantilan Luau AND Jake’s Beer Dinner. Each event is a way for both hotel guests, and those not staying onsite to try the very unique flavors that each one has to offer.

Universal Orlando’s newest hotel is kicking off their first event on April 5th with Caribbean Carnaval. The new event will take guests on a trip through the flavors of the islands, as they sample food inspired from the Bahamas, Cuba, Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica.

The cost is $69 dollars for adults, and $$35 for children ages 3-9. The new event will feature a buffet full of amazing dishes, and of course a huge musical festival. Guests can party along with the limbo, the conga and many other favorites at Cayman Court.

The food options will carry a wide variety of flavors. Here’s a rundown of the full menu:

The new festival will take place every Wednesday at Loew’s Sapphire Falls Resort, beginning on April 5th. Planter’s Punch, Beer and Wine are all included in the price, as well as Non-alcoholic beverages. The event is open for all ages.
