The first trailer for the highly anticipated adaptation of Stephen King’s series, The Dark Tower, has hit. It stars Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey, and seems to wrap up a few of the books into one arching movie.
The Gunslinger was the first book in the series, and was the key character in the book. The Man in Black was a dark wizard and one of the main protagonists of the series, under the service of the Crimson King. Right now there doesn’t seem to be a lot of the original story in the trailer, but that’s okay. Let’s just hope we get to see the story evolve over a few movies. Let’s also hope they get the feel of the characters right.
