D23 2017: Black Panther, Thor Ragnarok and Avengers Infinity War revealed at D23 Marvel booth

Marvel takes center stage at D23 in the huge Marvel Pavilion. While we haven’t seen any new footage, or any big reveals just yet, we are getting a great look at some amazing characters, props and art from the D23 booth.

Check out our full video tour below:

There seems to be a few things left to reveal, so we’ll definitely have those in the next few days, but let’s take a little bit of a closer look at the booth.

First up, there’s this insane poster from Thor: Ragnarok. The film hits theaters this November, but what more do you need than Thor fighting Hulk? It’s crazy intense, and everything fans have been looking forward to. There’s a pretty good bet that we’ll get a new trailer when the Marvel panel happens Saturday, but there’s also a good chance we won’t get to see it online until San Diego Comic Con happens next week.

Also from Ragnarok, we get an exclusive glimpse at Thor’s Swords. If we had to guess, it looks like Thor loses Mjolnir, his amazing kick ass hammer, and it’s replaced with some amazing kick ass swords. Next up we get a look at some of the costumes from the film, which gives a look at Thor’s new armor, and what looks like the costume of Jeff Goldblums’ character from the trailer. Long flowing gold robes definitely aren’t the stuff of warriors.

So far, everything from the Black Panther movie has been outstanding. That doesn’t stop at D23, where several of the costumes are on display. The costumes definitely give off the look of an African tribe, and we also get the feeling there’s something more that they’re hiding. Of course, they’re hiding The Black Panther. We can’t wait to see more from this film.

Say what you will about the transition of Tower of Terror to Guardians of the Galaxy, the ride is a huge hit with guests and is the first step into the Marvel Theme Park Universe. The model for the new ride is on display, and it’s very impressive.

Finally, Avengers Infinity War has just wrapped up filming. There’s not a whole lot on display yet, but there’s three more items covered up. Still, we get a great look at Thanos and he’s pretty damn impressive. We can’t wait to see him destroying the Avengers next summer!

We’ll have tons more from Disney D23 in the coming days, so stay tuned!
