Rocko, Heffer, and Filbert are all back on Earth after being lost in space since 1996. That’s the premise of the new Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling TV movie coming to Nickelodeon in 2018. What exactly does today look like to a 90’s kid? That seems to be the central theme of the new movie, and the new teaser for Static Cling.
Personally, I love the teaser. It’s full of tons of stabs at how we view things today, including Starbucks on every corner, and gritty super heros. Rocko’s Modern Life has always been a bit risque, and boundary pushing. This new movie looks like we’ll get even more of what 90’s kids loved.
