Six Flags Fiesta Texas to open new single rail Wonder Woman coaster!

According to USA Today, Six Flags Fiesta Texas is unrolling Wonder Woman's Golden Lasso as a new, revolutionary coaster. Golden Lasso will replace Power Surge at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and will open for the 2018 season.

The new coaster will feature 113-foot hill, with a drop of about 100 feet straight down at 90-degrees, and a top speed of 52 mph. Overbanked turns and the signature Rocky Mountain 180 degree stall.
So what makes this so groundbreaking? Rocky Mountain Construction will be building this new coaster using their Raptor model, which uses a single rail. Traditional coasters ride on two rails, but Wonder Woman will ride on just a single rail, which will make for a smoother and potentially more out of control experience.

The new coaster will the first of its kind in the world, and will open in 2018 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
