Legoland opens doors to public and job seekers

This coming Thursday, July 8th, Legoland is opening their doors to the public for the first time for an open house. Everyone is invited to attend this event from 4pm-7pm to become acquainted with Legoland and how it will impact central Florida. Concept art and Lego models of Darth Vader, Bob the Builder, and Thomas the Tank Engine will be on display, which will be similar to the ones that may actually be in the park once it officially opens in 2011. Attendees can also lend a helping hand in building a 9×5 foot Lego mural that will depict the front of the park.

Besides opening to the public and letting them get a sneak peek at what’s really going on, they are opening their doors to job seekers to hear about employment opportunities. During the official annoucement of Legoland earlier this year, they stated the new park would create 1,000 jobs.

This event is open to anyone and will run from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, July 8th. To anyone attending who has never been to Cypress Gardens before, the address is as follows:

Winter Haven Orange Dome
150 Cypress Gardens Blvd.
Winter Haven, FL 33880

Will you be there?
