Universal Orlando opens Churrascaria experience in Latin Quarter

Meat brought to your table on giant swords! And it never stops. That’s what a traditional Brazilian Churrascaria (steakhouse) would offer. Now Universal Orlando has added on to it’s Latin Quarter restaurant to include one of those experiences.

Universal announces that they are bringing the flavors and tastes of Brazil to Orlando with the all new Churrascaria experience in the Latin Quarter Restaurant. Located in the upper level of the Latin Quarter, the new experience will have roaming servers bringing a range of meats to your table. Such meats include filet mignon, roast beef, short ribs, lamb, pork and the house specialty picanha (top sirloin), as well as a buffet with American dishes and Brazilian sides.

“The churrascaria offerings at Latin Quarter capture a piece of Brazilian culture by providing guests with an authentic rodizio dining experience here at Universal CityWalk,” said Ric Florell, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Resort Revenue Operations.

But how does it work? You pay one price, $36.99 which includes your meat coma and side buffet. Kids are half price, and children under 6 are free. Then sit back and bring on the meat! They don’t stop until you say stop, or POP. If meat isn’t for you, you can go just for the side buffet which includes American cuisine, salads and Brazilian sides for around $20.00
In comparison other steakhouses start around $50.00 a person.
