Annual “Coasting for Kids” details emerge-Ride coasters, raise money for GKTW

It sounds like a dream come true for coaster enthusiasts, ride coasters and raise money to do it. Too good to be true? Well, if you’re a big supporter of Give Kids the World, it’s never too good to be true. Cedar Fair Parks, the parent company of Kings Island, Cedar Point, Carowinds and many more, is holding it’s annual event “Coasting for Kids”. The event will help raise money for the Give Kids the World Village in Central Florida.

Many of the Cedar Fair parks will open their coasters for a full marathon for coaster riders who help to raise money for The Give Kids the World Village on June 10th.
Give Kids the World is an organization that helps children with Life Threatening Illnesses. They help make the wishes of these children come true by providing a cost free trip to many of Central Florida’s attractions. In fact, the village is where the families stay on their trips. It provides a cost free, fun environment full of magic and fun. In fact, the village was designed by many at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Many great parks have come together to build an amazing place, and many who work at the Orlando area parks volunteer and sit on the board of directors.
This is a chance for coaster enthusiasts to not only have a great time riding their favorite coasters non-stop, but to also help an amazing cause.
