Diagon Alley menu revealed with a huge offering of new Wizarding foods, drinks and more!

The anticipation is building for the opening of the all new Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida.  Universal Orlando has already released some major details about the all new ride, and shopping options,  but what about food?   The official Universal Orlando Blog has just released a huge list of tons of new food and beverages coming to Diagon Alley this summer, and it’s a magical departure from the food choices we’ve already seen!

The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter has already delighted the palettes of many fans with an array of British inspired food at Three Broomsticks.  For Diagon Alley, however, the food has taken a decidedly more city inspired route with dishes that you might find at a British Pub in London. Traditional flavors are represented,  but knowing Universal,  they will put their spin on a few flavors as well.
Here’s some of the food offerings at Diagon Alley’s Leaky Cauldron:

Bangers and Mash (traditional roasted sausages with creamy mashed potatoes)
Toad in the Hole (traditional sausage baked into a Yorkshire pudding and served with onion gravy)
Cottage Pie (a savory combination of meat and vegetables in a potato crust)
Fisherman’s Pie (salmon, shrimp and cod baked together under a potato crust)
Beef, Lamb & Guinness Stew (served in a bread bowl)
Ploughman’s (a feast of English cheeses, crusty bread, cornichon pickles, apple beet salad, Branston pickle and a Scotch egg)
Split Pea Soup
Banger Pub Style Sandwich
Fish and Chips
And more!

If that wasn’t enough the park returns with an array of new signature drinks as well. Universal made history when it created Butterbeer specifically for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,  and created a trend copied by many other parks.

Here’s a list of new drink offerings:

Fishy Green Ale (it’s Fishy Green Ale, use your imagination!)
Otter’s Fizzy Orange Juice
Tongue Tying Lemon Squash
Peachtree Fizzing Tea
Wizard’s Brew (draught beer)
Dragon Scale (draught beer)
Gillywater
Pumpkin Juice
Butterbeer (of course!)

That is a very exciting list, especially with the new beers offered. Universal has partnered with local breweries for Hogs Head Ale as well as Duff Beer to create a series of flavors unique to Universal Orlando.
But we’re not done yet! You can’t have a proper dinner without desserts,  and Diagon Alley will have a ton. From traditional British desserts to unique Universal flavors, and of course ice cream.
Here’s the list of new and exciting desserts:

Earl Grey and Lavender
Chocolate Chili
Clotted Cream
Apple Crumble
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Salted Caramel Blondie
Chocolate and Raspberry
Strawberry and Peanut-Butter
Orange Marmalade
Butterbeer (that’s right, Butterbeer-flavored ice cream!)

Earl Grey ice cream is amazing if you like the tea, and of course Butterbeer is going to be an all out favorite. The area will also feature an Elixir Station where wizards can make their own drinkable potions,  which sounds like a unique version of Coke Freestyle,  using Gillywater as a base.
Don’t know about you, but we are ecstatic to check out the new drink offerings, and find out just what Gillywater will be. Horizont Alley – a street branching off DiagonAlley – also has revealed it’s first shop, Eternelle’s Elixir of Refreshment. This is where guests will be able to mix up their own potions that will transform before their eyes. Horizont Alley is an all new creation from J.K. Rowling herself, created just for Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando.
