“Vampirates” are coming to Orlando in October with all new dinner show

Pirates are bad enough. They’re really bad eggs…there’s a whole song about how bad they can be. If that wasn’t bad enough, the Orlando based Pirates! Dinner Adventure will be cracking open the crypt and adding vampires to the mix for…you guessed it, VAMPIRATES! The new show will hit the stage this October for a bout of blood suckers with your swashbucklers.

Vampirates will hit the stage on October 1st and run daily until Halloween. The all new show will feature the same swashbuckling fun that you’ve come to expect, but now with a Halloween twist. The annual Treasure Bay Costume Ball is happening, but the evil Captain Sebastian is lurking in the shadows. It seems that Captain Sebastian was defeated once before by the pirates of Treasure Bay and now he’s out seeking revenge for those who have wronged him. While that seems like an every day threat in the life of a pirate, Captain Sebastian has brought a team of blood thirsty vampire pirates with them.

The show will span about two hours, and will feature a four course meal with your paid admission. There aren’t many more details, but it appears that guests are encouraged to come in costumes. The official website lists that there will be a nightly costume contest. We’re assuming the normal theme park costume rules abide-No masks, and family friendly attire only. While Vampires might be a little scary for the real small kids, it looks like it’s going to be a family friendly affair, and be appropriate for most audiences.

Right now there’s even a deal on Groupon for the all new show (click here).
