The road to the seventh film in the Fast and Furious franchise begins at Universal Studios Hollywood, as the park will play host to a huge launch party for the all new trailer. The film isn’t expected to hit theaters until April 3rd, but that’s not stopping the cast and crew from making a big impression before the end of the year. The new film will also mark an all new adventure for the crew as it’s the last film to feature Paul Walker. The film will also lead the way for the all new “Fast&Furious:Supercharged” attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The all new film will star Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris. The film will pick up right where the last film left off, and will bring in bad guy Jason Statham into the mix.
The trailer will have an official kick off next Saturday at Universal Studios Hollywood at noon Pacific Time, and will also feature a Live Event with the cast. Starting today, fans can submit questions for Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and Jason Statham by going to Instagram and submitting a video, asking your favorite Fast & Furious star your question while using the hashtag #AskFurious7.
If you’re not on Instagram, you can head over to the official Facebook Page (click here) and simply commenting on the post. For those in the Los Angeles area, tickets will be available starting tomorrow, Monday October 27th, on the official Fast & Furious social pages.
While nothing else has been announced, it’s very possible that attendees could see a trailer or more work on the all new Fast&Furious:Supercharged attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. The cast and crew of the film, as well as the stars of the ride will be present. That makes a huge opportunity for the park to create an amazing first impression of the new attraction that will open in 2015.
