A lot of great things happened in 1975. JAWS redefined what a summer movie would be, and made us all afraid to go in the water. Wheel of Fortune airs for the first time. The Thrilla in Manilla rocks the world as Muhammed Ali defeats Joe Frazier. The biggest thing, however, is that a legendary park was born, as Busch Gardens Williamsburg was opened! The park is celebrating 40 years in a big way, with tons of new attractions, and free admission.
The park is offering free admission on opening weekend, but there’s a catch.
You have to be born in 1975.
That’s right, Busch Gardens Williamsburg is giving those born in the same year they were open, free admission. It’s a nice way of showing those who hit the big “4-0” that they aren’t old…they’re legendary.
Again, this deal is only for those born in 1975, and it’s only good on opening weekend. All you have to do is show up at the front gate with valid identification showing your birth year as being 1975.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg is expected to open an all new coaster, as well as a new show for 2015 in celebration of their 40th anniversary.
