Ninjago coming to Legoland California with new land and attraction!

Legoland is on a roll this year. They’ve introduced the new Heartlake City, the huge Lego Death Star, and they are showing no signs of slowing down. In 2016 the park will look to one of Legos most popular properties, Ninjago. Ninjago will bring an all new attraction, as well as land to the park, and it will be a new adventure for Legoland.

Details are very scarce, but Legoland California has announced that the park will be bringing an all new Ninjago attraction, as well as land. Lego Ninjago tells the story of four young ninja heroes — Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane — who train under the watchful eye of Sensei Wu to master the ancient martial art of Spinjitzu. It is one of the most popular line of toys and attractions in the Lego brand. The attraction is also a series on Cartoon Network.

The attraction could go a number of ways, as there are several different cool things in Ninjago, such as the Titanium Dragon which warriors ride into battle, the Ninja-Charger and of course the temple of Ninjago City.

Legoland Deutschland opened a Ninjago flying attraction in 2012, as well as an area in their Miniland. The attraction takes riders up on a giant pendulum structure, while spinning the base of the attraction 360 degrees.

The new attraction and land is scheduled for a Spring 2016 opening.
