Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the huge anniversary of the Studio Tour by taking guests on a special tour, specifically at night. The Nighttime Studio Tour began soft opening operations earlier this summer, and was supposed to have a grand kick off on July 4th. It was also supposed to run only weekends from July 4th until Labor Day weekend. The tour has proven so popular that Universal Studios Hollywood has decided to extend the tour. Now you have more chances to check out the amazing effects, and additions that only come out at night.
The NightTime Studio Tour, which was originally supposed to run on weekends from July 4th until Labor Day will now run every single night until August 17th. After that, the tour will go to weekend only operations until September 13th. After that it will disappear for a while, due to Halloween Horror Nights and Terror Tram!
The new tour brings out new characters and brings to light how movies achieve night time lighting and effects. Some of the highlights include monsters, divas and some added effects to great scenes.

One of our favorite new things about the tour are the screen effects that are put into the different scenes. From Jurassic Park, to a western showdown, screens and lighting effects add a new element to the tour.
While we strongly suggest you visit the tour yourself, it will only be in the park for a limited time. The tour is a completely different tour than what happens during the day, and runs starting at sunset.
