It’s time for guests at the Tokyo Disney Resort to have a “Celebration”. The park announced that it will be opening the fourth Disney hotel at the resort in 2016. The new hotel will be called the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel, and will celebrate the magic and imagination of Tokyo Disneyland Park and Tokyo DisneySea Park in the guest rooms, the lobby and the courtyards. The new hotel will take over two partner hotels, and will be an all new concept for the Tokyo Disney Resort.
The all new resort will take over the Fountain Terrace and Palm Terrace Hotels to make room for this fourth entry. The new hotel will also feature about 700 (ish) rooms, and will be open in stages. The first stage will be open sometime in June, while the second will be in the fall of 2016.
The new hotel will surround guests with the memories of their favorite Disney characters, and memories, and will “inspire them to relive moments from their time spent in the theme parks and anticipate the fun awaiting them on the next day.”
The hotel will not be an onsite hotel, but it will be a Disney hotel, that is very close to the park. It’s definitely an interesting concept, as the new hotel will take two older hotels and combine them. The rooms are expected to sleep 3-5 guests, and a nightly rate has not been determined yet.
