Busch Gardens Tampa unveils huge plans for 2016 events!

                             

Busch Gardens Tampa has rolled out some huge news for 2016. Sure, the park is getting an all new coaster, Cobra’s Curse, but they will also pack the park with tons of festivals, events and concerts all year long. The fun will start later this month with ChristmasTown, and will go all the way through 2016. Are you ready for a big 2016?

The park will kick off things in a big way on November 27th with Christmas Town! The festive event is included with theme park admission, and includes huge light displays and special shows that you can only find during Christmas Town.

Here’s the line up:

WE THREE KINGS SHOW
Located in Three Kings Oasis, the We Three Kings Show unites magical voices in perfect harmony, unfolding the famed journey to humble town of Bethlehem.
HOLIDAY HILLS BAND
The Holiday Hills Band brings a classic Christmas to life with a jazz-inspired twist. Set in the vintage town of Holiday Hills, this band embodies the true merriment of the season.
ELMO’S CHRISTMAS WISH
Join Elmo, Cookie Monster, Zoe, Rosita and Grover as they learn the meaning of Christmas in Elmo’s Christmas Wish.
CHRISTMAS TIME TREE SHOW
The new Christmas Time Tree Show brings a larger-than-life Christmas tree alive every ten minutes with spectacular dancing lights.
CHRISTMAS ON ICE
The creators of Iceploration capture the holiday spirit as world-class skaters celebrate the many wonders of Christmas in the family-favorite show, Christmas on Ice.
CAROL OF THE BELLS
Busch Gardens’ Crown Colony House sets the stage for Carol of the Bells, featuring tens of thousands of Christmas lights choreographed to seasonal music.
HALLELUJAH SHOWCASE
Local churches, schools and professional performance groups from around Florida raise their voices in joy and fill the Marrakesh Theater with song in the Hallelujah Showcase.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Singers, dancers and Santa himself fill the stage with Holiday cheer during Christmas Celebration, a traditional Christmas extravaganza located inside the all-new Dragon Fire Grill.
CHRISTMAS FROM THE HEART
Rejoice in the glory of the season in Christmas from the Heart, a contemporary Christian gospel celebration located inside the Marrakesh Theater.

 

This is all included in theme park admission, and is on select nights only.

When the new year rolls through, the park will keep going with tons of concerts, festivals and more. We’re told that this is only a small sample of all the festivals and concerts that the park has planned…wow! It’s shaping up to be a huge year then.

Real Music: Jan. 4-March 5

Busch Gardens’ longest-running concert series returns Mondays through Fridays from Jan. 4 to March 5 with live music that spans six decades, from the 1950s to today. Musical fare includes swing, blues, pop, jazz and rock ‘n roll.

January 4-9                                         Ricky Nelson Remembered featuring Matthew & Gunnar Nelson

January 11-16                                    Jay and The Americans

January 18-23                                    Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone

January 25-30                                    The Drifters

February 1-6                                      Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals

February 22-27                                  The Glenn Miller Orchestra

Food & Wine Festival: Saturdays and Sundays March 5-April 24

Next spring, Busch Gardens’ Food & Wine Festival returns with wild flavors and concerts for every taste. The park will be tempting guests with a variety of cuisine, wine, craft beer and live entertainment on Saturdays and Sundays from March 5 through April 24. Food and beverage is not included, but is available for an extra fee. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase alcoholic beverages.

Summer Nights: Select dates June – Aug.

Summer Nights at Busch Gardens is returns with more heat, featuring an end-of-night show packed with live musicians, singers, dancers and artists from around the world. Their thrilling performance – along with modern music and fire effects – will pump up the crowd every night. Plus, summer nights are a great time to cool off with the rush of Busch Gardens’ world-class thrill rides, including Falcon’s Fury™, North America’s tallest freestanding drop tower.

 

Jack Hanna Weekend:  Sept. 10 & 11 (dates subject to change)

Join “Jungle Jack” Hanna for two days of wild animal shows, autograph signings and special meet-and-greets when he visits Busch Gardens. The internationally-known animal expert will share animal facts and his travel tales during animal shows at the Stanleyville Theater.

Then of course, in September, it all starts all over again with Howl O Scream. More details will come as events get closer.

So are you excited about 2016 yet? Add all of this fun, plus the all new Cobra’s Curse spinning coaster, which will take riders through Egyptian ruins, and get you face to face with a massive Cobra!
