Voice cast revealed for Lego Ninjago movie as new ride rocks Legoland

Ninjago is a pretty cool premise, based on the Lego line of toys. It’s already been a hit TV show, and earlier this year it was a groundbreaking new ride at Legoland California. Now, according to SlashFilm, we have a look at who will be the voice cast of the new film.

You can thank(or blame) toys for this one, as the names were released at the 2016 Toy Expo. The names haven’t been officially announced, but according to the Toy Expo they will be  Jackie Chan as Master Wu, Dave Franco as Lloyd, Michael Peña as Kai, Abbi Jacobson as Nya, Kumail Nanjiani as Jay, Zach Woods as Zane, and Fred Armisen as Cole.

That’s a pretty cool line up of actors. The movie will hit theaters on September 22nd, 2017. That will be after the Lego Batman Movie hits in February of 2017. It’s going to be a busy couple of years for the Lego brand, with a sequel to the Lego Movie hitting in 2019, and a new film called the Billion Brick Race which was also scheduled for 2019.

Meanwhile, you can ride the all new Ninjago at Legoland California this year, and you’ll be able to check out the new ride next year at Legoland Florida.
