She’s back, and this time she’s in charge…you’re in so much trouble. Universal Orlando has unveiled their Icon for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida. She’s no stranger to trouble, and mayhem, as Jack the Clown’s Right Hand. Now, Chance is taking over, and running the show…and we can only hope it’s going to be a nightmare.
Universal has released the first details and image of this year’s Icon, Chance. It seems that Jack is locked away somewhere, waiting for the next fool to turn the crank. Meanwhile Chance was left to rot, stripped of all her makeup. But it’s not a tragedy, it’s an opportunity. She’s paying for the crimes of last year, but you should know that Jack’s star pupil won’t be sitting still for very long.
This is a really big deal for several reasons. First…it’s Chance. She’s an amazing character that will be fleshed out in the coming months. We already know a bit about her, but we’ll get to know her so much better. This is also the first “new” Icon since Lady Luck in 2011. For the past few years, HHN has been letting the mazes tell the story of the event, with no real face. Also, since the age of icons began in 2000, there has only been a handful of female icons. The Storyteller, Bloody Mary, and Lady Luck have headlined the show before. Now, Chance and the other ladies of terror will join Jack, The Caretaker, The Director, the Usher and FEAR himself in the iconic history of HHN. It’s an amazing step forward for the event.
