Batman: The Killing Joke made it’s debut at San Diego Comic Con, and it was met with rave reviews. Naturally, Warner Brothers Animation is going to follow that up with some even better new animated films, and has announced the next slate of films that will be released.

The first up is Justice League Dark. The animated film will see many of the darker, more supernatural characters of DC comics. They handle situations that are deemed “too dark” for the Justice League. You’ll see John Constantine, Zatanna, Deadman for sure. The team has sometimes consisted of Madame Xanadu, Shade, The Changing Man, sometimes Frankenstein and even Swamp Thing. It’s unsure when exactly we’ll see the new film, but it looks like we’ll get a 2017 release date.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract will follow in the spring of 2017 as a follow up to Teen Titans vs. Justice League. The story originated in 1984 in the pages of New Teen Titans.

Finally, there aren’t many details on this one, as Batman and Harley have been announced for late 2017. The story will be completely original, and will be written by DC Legend Bruce Timm. Timm has brought many Batman stories to life, so it’s very exciting to see him returning to the Dark Knight’s universe.
