Disney Announces All New Holiday Firework Spectacular “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” to debut Next Month at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

With the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights now a thing of the past, looking forward to the holiday season at Walt Disney World has just not felt the same. Luckily for us, Disney has something up their sleeve that will hopefully be able to warm that holiday shaped hole in our hearts during the cold winter months.

The show will follow the new firework spectacular format first debuted this summer for the Star Wars: Galactic Spectacular show which premiered a few months ago. Relying heavily on light, fire, lazer, and projection effects the Chinese Theater will display imagery seen from Prep and Land, Nightmare Before Christmas, and much more. The Disney Parks Blog had more to add with their announcement

Led by elves Wayne and Lanny, the duo from ABC/Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated special “Prep & Landing,” the spirited yuletide adventure to the North Pole features memorable holiday moments from Disney films including “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Bambi,” Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and more, all building to a festive finale that’s “So tinsel!”

Also debuting with this show is an up-charge platform similar to the World of Color’s Dining Packages that happen at Disney California Adventure that offers special reserved seating for the show after your dinner experience. This of course will focus more on the sweets and treats of the holidays instead of an actual dinner. Luckily this up-charge is not required to see the show and only needed if you’re interested in the special reserved seating view.

A sweet way to enjoy this new holiday spectacular is with the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party, which includes reserved viewing, desserts, specialty beverages and more. Each dessert party guest will get a pair of 3D HoloSpex® glasses to use while watching the show. The glasses create spectacular holographic illusions of gingerbread men, candy canes, snowflakes and ornaments on any bright point of light.

The show will run starting November 14 through December 31, book your trip quickly because reservations are filling up fast! Are you excited about the new holiday night time spectacular? Let us know in the comments below.
