SeaWorld San Diego Teases Ocean Explorer Attraction for 2017

SeaWorld San Diego continues is currently underway on the park’s next big exapsion following the highly well received Explorer’s Reef addition that opened just a few years ago. The all new Ocean Explorer land continues to the evolution of the park which is changing it’s overall direction to a more whimsical kid-friendly theme first seen with Explorer’s Reef, and now Ocean Explorer. Today we received a video very modestly teasing the 3 new attractions coming to the new land.

The largest of the new attractions is the indoor/outdoor dark ride expected to take riders through a series of aquariums via a high-tech submarine, while educating and hoping to inspire younger guests.

The other attractions include a wave swinger themed to a jelly-fish, a spinner flat-ride as well as a walk through exhibit where you can get face to face with a multitude of sea critters, most notibly an array of Octopi, Eels and Crabs.

Apart from that, not much is known about the new addition. We can’t wait to see it when it is finally finished in mid 2017!
