After all these years, its still a magical experience when the cast of the Harry Potter films enter the room. Matthew Lewis, Warwick Davis, Tom Felton and his on screen dad, Jason Issaacs took part in a special Q&A on Friday noght before the kick off of the Wizarding Celebration. It was all part of the huge Fourth Annual Celebration of Harry Potter weekend at Universal Orlando.
The cast shared stories and points of view from their time on the films. The one thing that each one shared was the amazement of how the stories that J.K. Rowling created are still as celebrated today as they were when they were released.
Part of the appeal is that the issues that the books deal with resonate with people and the issues today.
“Jo’s books deal with issues in such a way that is almost subliminal” said Jason Issaccs.
Without delving into politics, Isaaccs said that Lucious Malfoy would most likely love the current American President. “I imagine that Lucious would throw on a white pillowcase and follow the charge up the hill.”
Still, the experiences were amazing and if that’s the only thing they’re remembered for, that’s okay with them.
“There’s worse things to be remembered for, so that would be amazing.” Said Matthew Lewis.
