Universal has officially launched as Universal Parks in an all new campaign. The goal is to speak to guests and consumers as one voice. Both Universal Orlando and Hollywood have been bringing guests completely immersive experiences, as separate parks. Now they are working together to show families planning vacations how the parks are bringing some of today’s biggest stories to life in completely innovative new ways.
“Universal Parks & Resorts provides world-class entertainment destinations with signature theme parks in both Orlando and Hollywood that create unparalleled entertainment for the whole family,” said Alice Norsworthy, Executive Vice President of Marketing for Universal Parks and Resorts. “This new campaign speaks to the needs of families as they evolve – and it invites them to vacation on a whole new level.”
Universal is looking to show families how there’s more to vacations than the typical fairy tale with the new commercial. The new commercial throws a little shade at Disney and their princesses as a little girl breaks away from a princess dress and dons a wizard robe and wand.
The resorts have also launched a duel branded website with UniversalParks.com, which takes you to both Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando’s websites.
The move comes as Universal is launching some very ambitious projects, including the first ride with a virtual queue with Jimmy Fallon’s Race Through New York, and the all new Volcano Bay Water Theme Park.
