Go on a live construction tour of SeaWorld San Antonio’s newest coaster!

Construction tours are fun. If you love seeing the inner workings of new attractions, and how they’re being built, there is really nothing like a construction tour to get you up close and personal with a new attraction. Especially when we’re talking a new coaster!

Wednesday all of you lucky devils are going to be able to go on a hard hat tour of SeaWorld San Antonio’s all new coaster, Wave Breaker: The Rescue Coaster. I’m so jealous. Only, instead of worrying about getting dirty, and wearing closed toe shoes, you’ll be able to take this tour from the comfort of your own home…in your pajamas if you want.

SeaWorld San Antonio will launch a live Hard Hat Tour on Wednesday March 22nd, around 6p.m. Central time (that’s 7 for those in with EST). Simply follow along with SeaWorld Texas on Social Media to check the tour of the new coaster.

Here’s the details:
6 p.m. CDT – Periscope (@SeaWorldTexas)

6:20 p.m. CDT – Facebook Live (SeaWorld)

Fans can use the #WaveBreakerTX to submit your questions for project manager Larry Giles, who will be on hand to answer all the burning questions about the all new coaster.

The new coaster will take guests up 62 feet on jet ski’s as they go with SeaWorld’s Sea Rescue on an adventure that is mostly over water. The coaster will take guests through twists and turns, and launch them over the water as they try to rescue an animal in distress. The new coaster will have guests sit in a straddling position, as they ride on jet ski shaped coaster cars. It’s the first coaster of it’s kind in North America, looks like a total blast.
