Gru and the Minions are back, as the trailer for Despicable Me 3 has hit. This time we see Gru down on hard times, and the debate to become a villains again is back. However, there’s a little bit of a surprise.
Dru is introduced in the new trailer, and he looks like everything that Gru wants to be. There’s still the matter of the villain, Balthazar Bratt, who is a former child star that grew up to hang on to his 80’s character. We’ll have to wait and see how this all pulls together.
If you want more Minions and less Gru, Minions 2 will hit theaters in 2020. There’s also Minion Mayhem at both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Coming this April, guests will be able to stroll through Minion Park at Universal Studios Japan. It’s the latest entry in the Despicable Me franchise at Universal parks.
Despicable Me 3 hits theaters on June 30th.
