Johnny Depp Appears on Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland as Dead Men Tell No Tales Draws Near

Proof positive that you never know who or what you’re going to see at a theme park. On Wednesday evening, guests at Disneyland had the chance to see none other than Johnny Depp interacting with guests on the original Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The actor spent a few hours, in costume as Captain Jack Sparrow interacting with guests.

Several users on Twitter also posted video of Depp hanging out in the ride.

It seemed that it didn’t take long for everyone to figure out it was actually Depp on the ride.

The character appears in several scenes throughout the ride, and this isn’t the first time he’s been on the ride, hanging out with pirates. In fact, he appeared not only in the ride, but also outside of the ride as well.

Depp will actually be on hand at Disneyland in Shanghai later this month, as the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, will be held there on May 11th. Of course, we’ll see tons of footage and pictures from that park as well, as Depp is front and center on one of their signature attractions, Battle for the Sunken Treasure.

Still, if you go to Disneyland in the next few months, keep your eyes open for more Depp and more fun! You never know just what will happen.
