Imperial Walkers spotted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Imperial walkers have entered the base. Imperial walkers have entered the…skhljdfdshh. Star Wars Land is well underway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, with the ride buildings rising over the construction walls. It’s hard to see what else is going on, but thanks to BioReconstruct on Twitter, we can see that Imperial AT-AT Walkers have entered the new First Order Troopers Escape Ride.

We’ve seen this already in Star Wars Land at Disneyland earlier this year in Feb, as construction on the attraction seems to be about 4 months ahead. Disneyland confirmed that the ride will feature two interactions with Imperial Walkers as guests are trying to escape from the First Order. The ride is just sounding more and more amazing, as there’s also talk of real working lightsabers and more.

We also have a quick construction update of our own from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as construction ramps up around not only Star Wars Land, but also Toy Story Land.

From the ground, not a whole lot can be seen in park from Star Wars Land. Construction Walls are still up, and still show off the initial concept art. There have been no signs of rock work, or anything else that will hide the land from view, like at Disneyland.

Toy Story Land, meanwhile, is moving along very rapidly. If you look from the end of the street where Toy Story Mania is, you can see the Slinky Dog Coaster is just about complete and just in need of themeing. The area around the construction has added the Toy Story characters to the walls over the last few months. If we had to make a guess, we’d say that Toy Story Land will get an opening date next year, with a possible announcement happening at this year’s D23 Expo in Anaheim.
