The first trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters from Trick r Treat director Michael Doughtery has arrived, and it’s actually pretty beautiful.

I couldn’t help but giggle during the trailer. If you’re like me and you love the old school monsters, with the big man and suit kaiju, then next summer is going to be amazing. Godzilla is the second film in what plans to be a series, with the big showdown being King Kong vs. Godzilla around 2021 or so.
King of Monsters will smash into theaters on May 31st, 2019.
